Morning Run Pond was inspired by my friend who, on this very particular day, a pond she runs by many days in a week, had to stop her run to capture the beauty of this moment in time.
The reflections in the pond of the sky, foliage and rocks, was so brilliant on this July morning, that she had to snap a photo. The title she shared with me was, "Every single day, there is such beauty around us, we just need to stop and notice it", and she did! This Oil Pastel was a gift to her and it hangs in her office to remind her that, lifes beauty is truly all around us, every single day.
